My Main Character

My main character for the civil war fiction story is going to be a solder named Mark. Mark was knocked out in the middle of a great battle and he never woke up and the north just left him there to die. About a day later he woke up and now is stranded in the middle of nowhere and must find his way home and fend for himself in the unforgiving wilderness. All he has is a flint a gun his sword and whatever he can find throughout the rows of fallen soldiers.
